The University of Plymouth Peninsula Dental School is looking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic academics to contribute to the development, evaluation and teaching across all years of its highly successful BDS and BSc Dental Therapy and Hygiene programmes. The School is currently #1 in the Guardian League Table 2022 and #3 in the 2021 NSS.
We particularly welcome applications from clinically qualified candidates with an interest for enhancing our underpinning scientific foundations and integrated oral science teaching, learning and assessment; simulated, digital and technology enhanced learning. You will be an excellent communicator and an enthusiastic educator with a commitment to developing our undergraduate professional programmes and research activities. You will be expected to facilitate learning across a range of activities including small group life science and EBL sessions, in the simulated dental learning environment (SDLE), chairside on clinic, through lectures and interactive workshops.
You will have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree, full registration with the UK General Dental Council (GDC) be an active clinician and have or be willing to gain a qualification or recognition of teaching in HE.

This role will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus a Children’s Barred List and Adults Barred List check.
The successful candidate may be required to obtain an ATAS Certificate prior to this research being undertaken.

These are full-time positions working 37 hours a week on a permanent basis.
