Clinical Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Community Medicine at University of Central Lancashire

The School wishes to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our enthusiastic and committed MBBS teaching team. 

From September 2023 the School of Medicine will deliver Year 5 of the MBBS programme from Westlakes campus. The post holder will undertake a key role in the Community Care component of the curriculum and under the guidance of the Clinical Module Lead will assist with development and delivery of teaching and assessment for the module.

The right candidate will have substantial recent experience of medical practice in UK primary care and will have experience of delivering medical education. Full registration and license to practice with the GMC is essential. As part of the role the post holder will expected to undertake suitable clinical practice at the Workington Community Hospital site including teaching clinics, ensuring access to patients and robust supervision for the students.

The post is based at Westlakes campus with occasional travel to UCLan’s Burnley and Preston campuses.
