About the role

The Clinical Lecturer (Teaching) will be a clinician with good experience and knowledge of medical education and who has an enthusiasm for embedding a culture of scholarship, excellence and innovation into our undergraduate programme.

The post holder will work with other Clinical Lecturers (Teaching) within the department to provide ongoing support for existing medical education projects, teaching, scholarship and curriculum redesign and development.

Appointment details:

  • The post is graded on the clinical staff Pay Scale Grade 8, the annual salary for which ranges from £48,705 – £69,584 (including London Allowance).
  • The appointment is available asap and is funded for 3 years in the first instance.

About you

The postholder will need to have a primary medical qualification and full GMC registration alongside a postgraduate qualification in education or equivalent experience.

The postholder will have experience and knowledge of curriculum design, development and methodology.
