We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Nursing Associate to work alongside our lecturers and employer partners to deliver the Foundation Degree Apprenticeship (Nursing Associate Apprenticeship) Programme. This Band 6 Portfolio Tutor role will suit a candidate with 2-years clinical experience as a registered Nursing Associate who has experience of coaching, supervising, supporting and teaching pre-registration Nursing Associates and/or Student Nurses.
The successful candidate will use their knowledge, skills and experience to support apprentices to achieve success throughout their learning journey. Working alongside academic colleagues. apprentices and employer partners the successful candidate will play a vital role in developing, supporting and evaluating learning plans for individual NA apprentices while accurately monitoring and recording their engagement, progression and performance to meet the needs of funders and regulators.
The Portfolio Tutor will be expected to champion the role of the Nursing Associate within the university, practice and the wider community and act as a role model to promote the apprenticeship route to registration and inspire our apprentices to understand what they can achieve, and to be proud of their contribution to health care across our region. The successful candidate will have access to staff development opportunities to further develop their teaching, learning and assessment practice.
