The school of School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education, University of Southampton, is seeking a well-qualified and highly motivated consultant in Public Health to join their team based at University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Unit’s postgraduate teaching on the MSc in Public Health which is currently undergoing the university’s programme review processes, presenting a great opportunity for course development. You will contribute to the development of innovative teaching, learning and assessment approaches on the MSc Public Health. You will join a highly successful Faculty within a University widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and innovative institutions in the country. As a research-led University it is rated amongst the top ten in the country for the quality of its research and scholarship.
Candidates for this appointment will be medically qualified and working at consultant level in public health practice in Hampshire. They will be embedded in local public health structures and have an in-depth understanding of public health across Hampshire. They will have experience of teaching/training in public health.
