We have an opportunity for a Clinical Research Fellow in the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Health. This role will allow the development and implementation of clinical research skills and production of data which the postholder should use to develop a research thesis leading to an MD or PhD degree. Key roles will include being a team-member to support and maintain the development of the study documents for regulatory approval and the patient-facing activities i.e., screening, enrolment, and safety and efficacy data collection, CT imaging analyses.

Although research will form the major component of this post, participation in associated clinical duties and a small amount of teaching will be incorporated into the role. The postholder will be expected to register and undertake research during the course of the project that will lead to a higher degree [MD/PhD].

Candidates should have specialty experience in Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery.

This post is fixed term until 31 March 2027.
