– THE ROLE –

The post holder will conduct clinical research on human volunteers and patients in the field of obesity and diabetes. They will be part of a Group of translational researchers testing the efficacy and mechanisms of action of novel interventions for people with obesity and/or diabetes and will assist with the conduct of both commercial and non-commercial human studies as the primary clinician on site, the relevant laboratory analyses and the necessary statistical/bioinformatic analyses.

– ABOUT YOU –

The post holder must have:

– A Medical qualification and registered Medical Practitioner status with the General Medical Council.
– Successfully completed Foundation training (years 1 and 2).
– Knowledge of the field of diabetes, obesity and metabolism.
