King’s College NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK. The Clinical Immunology & Allergy Department is a well-established and forward-looking unit providing specialist Allergy/Immunology services and training.

Following a strategic review, two posts of Clinical Research Fellows are available. We are seeking two outstanding candidates to undertake doctoral research degrees and gain or consolidate experience in Immunology. The positions are open on a fixed-term basis for a maximum of four years, renewable annually, depending on research progress. The posts will not be renewed beyond four years, the expected duration of the completion of the research project. Candidates will work alongside the Clinical Immunology and Allergy team. Although this post does not have educational approval for specialist training, we will offer the equivalent of study leave.

This is an ideal opportunity for gaining or consolidating experience in the speciality. However, the positions are open for candidates from any other medical field wishing to undertake doctoral research in Immunology.

To be considered for this role, MRCP (UK/I) or equivalent is essential.

Applicants must have full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
