The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) and MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS) have several opportunities for researchers who have been recently displaced by conflict, including those from Ukraine and whose research is related to the research themes of our Institutes. The Fellowships will support post-doctoral research training for researchers at an early career stage with a keen interest in the science carried out in our Institutes. Fellowships provide funding for salary and consumables to support an individual for 2 years, including assistance and funding for obtaining a UK visa.
The MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS) is a biomedical research institute where scientists and clinicians collaborate to advance the understanding of biology and its direct application to medicine. The LMS is located at the Hammersmith Hospital campus in West London https://lms.mrc.ac.uk/
The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) is a research institute dedicated to the understanding of important biological processes at the levels of atoms, molecules, cells and organisms. In doing so, we provide the knowledge needed to solve key problems in human health. LMB is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus https://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/
Applicants should have a PhD (or equivalent) and post-doctoral experience in a relevant subject area, an excellent publication record and a commitment to scientific excellence.
