The above full-time (1.0 FTE) role is immediately available until the end of February 2024 on a fixed term contract. This role is eligible for remote working and therefore can be based anywhere in the UK.

Salary Details
The starting salary will be up to £32,982 on Grade E, depending on qualifications and experience.

The post
The Faculty wishes to recruit a Graduate Research Assistant to support the work of Dr Ben Wheeler on the Horizon 2020 REGREEN project. This European Commission funded post is available immediately to 29/2/2024 when the project ends. The successful applicant will support research activity during the final stages of REGREEN, specifically Work Package 4 on wellbeing valuation of nature based solutions (NBS)
A key task that this GRA will be to work with the research team on development of a briefing that integrates methods and findings from across the work package, communicating the advantages of the different types of evidence in informing decision-making on nature based solutions for health and wellbeing. They will also support additional tasks such as research administration and helping prepare research findings for publication.
About you
The successful applicant will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.
Applicants will be educated to first degree level or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline. Applicants will have experience of relevant quantitative and qualitative research methods, and of the integration and translation of different types of evidence to inform decision-making.
