Eastern AHSN (Academic Health Science Network) has an exciting opportunity for Programme Management Office Lead to join our rapidly expanding Health Informatics team.

A bit more on the role
The Health Informatics team has specialist skills in delivering programmes of work that include providing secure environments for storing and accessing health and other sensitive data to support health and care delivery, research, and innovation. This newly created role sits within the Operations function and will lead the day-to-day activities of the Programme Management Office (PMO), working to ensure the successful delivery of our projects and programmes. The post holder will manage a team of Programme Delivery Managers and Administrators, providing leadership and will generally be responsible for keeping the projects on track. The post holder will have significant experience in the governance of using health data for research purposes and will lead on the Information Governance streams of work across multiple projects. The post holder is not expected to be a technical expert, but instead have the capability to develop a broad understanding of our complex projects and be able to communicate key pieces of information to different audiences.

There will be an occasional requirement to travel within the Eastern region and attend events or meeting further afield.
