Bangor University School of Medical and Health Sciences has vacancies for 2 full-time dental hygiene lecturer/clinical supervisors to join our team. Duties will include supervision of undergraduate dental hygiene students and the teaching of dental programmes and assessment of undergraduate dental hygiene students, within the clinical environment.

Candidates should be educated to degree standard in oral sciences or dental hygiene and therapy and be registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist. We will consider applicants with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and/or Therapy and a Dental Hygiene qualification only. Previous experience mentoring/supervising dental nurses/hygienists/therapists would be beneficial but not essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor and at clinical placement sites across North Wales. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will may be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
