An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer on the BSc/MSci Biomedical Science programmes to join a vibrant and innovative team.
Applicants must hold a first degree and a PhD in the relevant field, and should have university experience, and the ability to deliver broad-based teaching across biomedical sciences. Applicants with expertise in any relevant subject area be considered. Applicants with expertise in Genomics would be desirable. Experience in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching of the concepts and techniques of data handling and statistics with application to biomedical science, would also be desirable. There may be opportunities to contribute to the area of Genomic Medicine in Masters programmes. Experience of curriculum development, assessment, small group teaching and supervising undergraduate research projects is desirable.
Applicants will be required to deliver a 10-minute presentation aimed at UG level in a relevant subject area.
