The School of Health Sciences has an established record of uni-professional and multi-disciplinary clinical simulation learning delivery, research, and evaluation. Recent expansion of our clinical teaching facilities now offers a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to this work.  This role provides a rare and exciting opportunity to join a motivated and innovative team of academics, committed to the delivery of high-quality healthcare education and discipline related research activity. 

Applications are invited from experienced AHP practitioners with relevant experience in clinical teaching and learning. You will be required to contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of clinical simulation teaching and assessment for the AHP programmes within SHS, utilising a broad range of teaching and learning strategies.  The post requires an individual with well-developed leadership and organisational skills, capable of effective inter-professional and cross boundary working.

You should be a qualified healthcare professional registered with the HCPC and have educational experience in either a clinical setting, or at a higher education institution. Knowledge of issues affecting clinical education, and evidence of CPD are essential attributes.  You should hold a Master’s degree or be registered on a Master’s programme in a relevant subject area.   In addition, you will need to demonstrate evidence of scholarly activity within healthcare or clinical education.

This post is based on a Teaching & Scholarship contract, the successful applicant will be required to undertake relevant scholarly activity, in alignment with the University’s ambitions.
