This post requires an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service for Adult & Child Workforce.

Applicants are required to submit a current CV and cover letter.

We are seeking enthusiastic and inspiring lecturers to join our academic nursing team. Inclusive and interprofessional learning is at the heart of our offer to students and the posts we currently have available are open to nurse educators with current NMC registration in any field of nursing. This doesn’t mean we don’t value and nurture field identity in our students and staff, we do, but our aim is to produce confident graduates and postgraduates who can work flexibly to meet the diverse health needs of the people and populations they serve. Although we welcome applications from any field we are particularly interested in receiving applications from lecturers who have acute nursing experience and are interested in developing, using and evaluating new pedagogies and technologies to deliver simulated practice learning. The University of Hull offers exciting career opportunities alongside a wide range of staff benefits, including a generous annual leave allowance, annual increments until you reach the top of your Band, access to a competitive pension scheme with employer contributions and the opportunity to work an agile working pattern on a single city campus set in beautiful grounds with great facilities.

For informal enquiries regarding the post please contact Dr. Jacquie White (Interim Head of School) jacqueline.white@hull.ac.uk
