Grade 8: £ per annum (pro- rata)

Join our vibrant and innovative team of occupational therapy lecturers and researchers, and make a difference in the lives of our students and future occupational therapists.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced OT to join our award-winning team and teach on our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering stimulating and engaging learning experiences, as well as providing academic and pastoral support to our students.

You will be welcomed into our interdisciplinary community of scholars where you can create a career trajectory encompassing the teaching, research, development and knowledge exchange activities that change people’s lives for the better.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have a strong commitment to social justice and equity, and who are passionate about using occupational therapy to promote health and well-being for all.

If you are a creative and innovative thinker, and you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, then we would love to hear from you.

You will hold current registration as an occupational therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council, hold a postgraduate degree relevant to health and social care, and have evidence of active continuing professional development. You will possess interpersonal skills that will enable you to display leadership and innovation and you will work effectively with colleagues, students and networks.

We would be happy to discuss options if you do not meet all essential criteria but would be interested in being appointed as an Assistant Lecturer.

For an informal discussion, please contact Dr. Gail Carin-Levy: GCarin-Levy@qmu.ac.uk or Dr. Duncan Pentland: dpentland@qmu.ac.uk
