About the role
Mission Statement
The College of Health, Psychology and Social Care upholds the overall mission of the University by providing high quality, accessible learning opportunities. We are committed to the Widening Participation agenda and have a good record of meeting the needs of local stakeholders.
The post is based in the School of Allied Health and Social care, one of three Schools within the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care. However, the post holder will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues across different disciplines within the College.
About Us
You would be joining a department with a long history or providing high quality teaching and learning experiences for both pre-registration and post registration Occupational Therapy programmes. We are a team of friendly, enthusiastic staff who are passionate about Occupational Therapy.
The impact you will have
You will join the teaching team delivering teaching, facilitating learning and engaging in the assessment processes across a range of modules/ subject areas on the undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and post-experience programmes. You will engage with the universities quality monitoring policies and procedures related to module and programme delivery, as well as undertaking wider duties such as personal academic tutoring, timetabling, marketing, admissions and student recruitment, open days and graduation events.
