To build on the expertise within the school we are seeking to appoint a lecturer in Paramedic Science A or B (dependent on experience and/or qualifications) to join the Paramedic Team. The applicant must hold a professional registration as a Paramedic with the HCPC.

The School of Health Sciences (SHS) and is one of the largest schools in the University. It is currently ranked 1st  for Paramedic Science (Complete University Guide, 2023).  The School of Health Sciences is a vibrant School which contributes effectively to the University vision to ensure excellence in teaching and the student experience The School of Health Sciences is located in  a newly  refurbished facility.  The state-of-the-art teaching technology and Clinical Simulation Centre demonstrate the University’s investment in this highly achieving School.

The school is a leading provider of undergraduate and postgraduate education and is in the top 10 in the UK for research following the last Research Excellence Framework assessment. In addition to this, we have been awarded Gold for our Teaching
