The Division of Pharmacy & Optometry is seeking to appoint a well-motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science who will join our research teams focused on either “Medicines: design and delivery” or “Patients: diagnosis and therapy” and contribute to teaching leadership and innovation aligned with their subject expertise. The post holder will be expected to develop and lead an independent research programme, supported by peer-reviewed funding, that complements and extends ongoing activities in the Division. They will be expected to initiate links with basic science and clinical groups across the University in order to advance their research programme. The post holder will also have the skills and experience to contribute to teaching and assessment, curriculum development, and other leadership activities related to the teaching of pharmacy within the Division.

The post holder will be expected to develop and contribute to initiatives that aim to enhance our undergraduate teaching across programmes, with an emphasis on our recently launched BSc Clinical Pharmacy (dual award from China Pharmaceutical University and The University of Manchester).
