Fixed Term Contract For 11 Months

The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual who will work as a lecturer in practice learning (LPL) within the practice learning team. We are looking to employ an LPL to support and enhance student’s experiences of learning in practice and to provide teaching and assessment initiatives to support students learning.

This role would involve working collaboratively with our practice partners across our placement network, enhancing the quality of the student experience with a focus on practice learning. There would be an expectation to travel, and the base would be discussed at interview. The Faculty has fours education centres based at University Centre Shrewsbury; University Centre Warrington; University Centre Birkenhead and the Wheeler Building, Chester.

We are looking for individuals who are committed and passionate about practice learning. The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience of the professional requirements of health and social care education programmes and hold a current health or social care registration.

We have a comprehensive induction programme for new starters and a mentorship package to support you through your role.

We encourage applications from a diverse range of applicants.
