We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as Teaching and Research Lecturer in the University Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery (UDOTS) within the Medical School. The primary purpose is to support our taught postgraduate teaching in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (https://www.dundee.ac.uk/orthopaedics ) but the role would also involve research.

You will be based at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, one of Europe’s largest teaching hospitals where the School of Medicine provides outstanding opportunities in medical education and training supported by world class research facilities.
Your priorities will include:
- Contributing to the Taught Post Graduate modules related to Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
- Supervising research being undertaken by master level students
- Contributing to the research activities of the School of Medicine at the highest level
Your qualifications and experience will include:
- Masters level or above qualification in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation related subject (e.g. Orthotics, prosthetics, physiotherapy etc)
- Experience of teaching at university (or equivalent) level, Evidence of learning and teaching competence
- Ability to produce research outputs of internationally excellent quality and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates will be appointed at the level appropriate to qualifications and experience. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious academics to join a multi-disciplinary teaching and research environment to advance their own career.
