Contract Type – Open ended Permanent 0.5 FTE/17.5 Hours per week

We are looking for a Programme Co-ordinator for the MSc in Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia. 

This post is advertised as part-time (17.5 hours per week).  We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.  

The Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to join a highly specialised and thriving post graduate programme within the R(D)SVS suit of post graduate programmes. 

The main purpose of this role is to assist and support the Director and Deputy Director of the Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia Programme in, co-ordinating and delivering this online programme. This will involve:

  • Co-ordinating the day-to-day running and administration of the Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia programme.
  • Developing and delivering new courses within the programme in consultation with Director/Deputy Programme Director
  • Dissertation year preparation and support in consultation with and under the academic guidance of Director/Deputy Programme Director 

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant veterinary science (Veterinary science/ Veterinary Nursing/ technician)
  • Teaching experience in veterinary anaesthesia (Clinical and/or HE) 
  • Evidence of clinical experience and interest in the subject of veterinary anaesthesia
  • Experience of working with virtual learning environments; good general IT skills 
  • Managing productive relationships with diverse organisations
