Indicative scales; 2016 scale for doctors £40,257 – £58,398 per annum (plus pay premia where eligible). Pre-2009 Clinical Lecturer Scale; £35,254 – £65,584 pa
Liverpool has extensive internationally leading expertise in the therapeutics of infection. In particular, the Infection Pharmacology Group has a large programme of research in HIV therapy, drug-drug interactions involving antiviral drugs, pharmacological characterisation and early-phase trials of novel COVID-19 antivirals. This post provides an exciting opportunity for an individual with relevant research experience who wishes to pursue a clinical academic career in infectious diseases, focussing on antimicrobial therapeutics.
You will have extensive experience in infection related disciplines and a demonstrated research interest in the therapeutics of viral and TB infection, aligning with research strengths in the Infection Pharmacology Group. You will demonstrate outstanding potential for development as a clinical academic.
You will have completed or are soon to complete a PhD in a relevant area (to be fully awarded in order to take up the post).
The post is available on a fixed term basis until 29 June 2027 or until CCT.
