About the Role

Applicants are invited to apply for the above post within the Translational Cardiovascular Therapeutic group (Ken Suzuki laboratory). Suzuki’s interdisciplinary laboratory conducts a range of translational research to develop advanced stem cell therapy for heart failure. The project, in which you will be engaged, is exciting cutting-edge translational research in regenerative medicine funded by the British Heart Foundation. You will be able to enjoy this challenging project and accumulate precious experience and skill/knowledge in this area in the internationally competitive laboratory.

About the Institute

The work will be based in the William Harvey Research Institute (Charterhouse Square Campus, London). This Institute has a strong record in preclinical and clinical therapeutic development and has recently made a large expansion forward in cardiovascular research with several large grants.

About You

The successful candidate should hold a postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification (i.e., PhD, MD) in medicine, medical research or life science. Demonstrable experience in the research fields relevant to translational regenerative therapy, with a publication record appropriate for the career stage, is required.

This role is full-time and fixed term for 22 months. The starting salary is Grade 4 and will be in the range £40,223 to £42,405 per annum depending on experience and inclusive of London Allowance.
