Practice Placement Officer – Nursing & Allied Health
Hours of work: Full-time – 35 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: The starting salary will be from £30,487 up to £32,982 per annum in Grade 6a, depending on qualifications and experience
Working within the Graduate Outcomes Directorate this is an exciting time to join our Practice.
Placement Team as we develop our Nursing and Allied Health programme offer at Leeds Trinity University.
You will lead on developing and establishing placement systems and processes as we set-up our Allied Health and Nursing Placement division within the Graduate Outcomes Directorate. Ensuring all governance and monitoring mechanisms are in place and regularly reviewed, you will create an infrastructure which enables the successful management and placement of learners from a range of programmes. Whilst planning, forecasting, advising and placing students into a range of relevant placement opportunities, including providing guidance to students and support to hosts by tracking, monitoring, and reporting during the placement lifecycle.
This is a dynamic role working in a changing environment, the successful candidate will work independently with their own initiative and demonstrate excellent organisation and administrative skills. Having a systematic and flexible approach to work is essential, and you will demonstrate the ability to build successful relationships with external networks and maintain high levels of customer service during the placement lifecycle.
This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
