A man has been charged after allegedly making offensive comments during a Pro-Palestine rally.

About 6000 people turned out to show their support for Palestinians at a rally held in Hyde Park on Sunday.

The 63-year-old man was charged with using offensive language at the rally.

He was arrested at his Mount Druitt home at 8pm on Monday and taken to the local police station.

The man was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on November 15.

Inquiries continue.
