Programme Delivery Manager (Health Informatics) at Eastern AHSN

Eastern AHSN (Academic Health Science Network) has an opportunity for a Programme Delivery Manager to join our rapidly expanding Health Informatics team, owing to a number of exciting new projects coming into our portfolio. The post is offered as substantive or a secondment opportunity (with permission from your employing organisation).

A bit more on the role

The Health Informatics team has specialist skills in delivering programmes of work that include providing secure environments for storing and accessing health and other sensitive data to support health and care delivery, research, and innovation. This role sits within Programme Management Office (PMO) under the Operations function, supporting the delivery of a number of our projects in parallel.

We are looking for someone who feels at home working in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. You may not be the subject matter expert, but you can work alongside the experts to make a plan that will deliver on our ground-breaking health data projects. Our ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to take information and present it accurately and in a visually appealing way – adapting communication styles to different audiences. You are likely to have experience of applying structured processes, such as project planning, tracking and risk identification, within a healthcare or research setting.

There will be an occasional requirement to travel within the Eastern region and attend events or meeting further afield.
