This post builds upon the exciting and continually developing partnership between Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPUFT) and Keele University. As Reader/Professor in Mental Health Nursing the post holder will work to develop academic research across the clinical/academic partnership. Building upon an established track record of developing research, the post-holder will look to develop an academic portfolio working with Keele and MPFT, driving evidence based practice at the Trust.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the academic teams working in partnership between the Trust and University who are highly dedicated and committed to delivering cutting edge clinical research. The team has a range of skills and knowledge in research, education and clinical specialities and this post provides excellent opportunities for collaboration and interprofessional learning and working. This is a joint clinical academic post, reflected by a job plan that encompasses 1.5 days with a clinical focus and 3.5 days with an academic focus (research).
