Applications are sought for a committed Research Assistant to work with a collaboration between the Universities of St Andrews (Drs Robert Scully and Anita Laidlaw – both Honorary), Aberdeen (Drs Anita Laidlaw and Kim Walker), Dundee (Dr Kirsty Alexander, Dr Gillian Scanlan) and Glasgow (Prof Lindsey Pop, Drs Zoe Noonan and Katie Brown) conducting research for a Scottish Medical Education Research Consortium funded project entitled ‘Composite Narrative Animations: a novel approach to increase the acceptability of accessing psychological support for medical student wellbeing and to build workforce resilience’. The primary duties will be to collect research data via interviews and online surveys, securely manage research data, conduct analysis of collected data, synthesise findings and contribute to research outputs.

The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a Masters in psychology, health professions education, or social sciences with expertise in higher education research.

The post is available as soon as possible until 31 October 2023, in the first instance.
