This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic research assistant to join a vibrant collaborative research environment and work alongside all members of the SPIN research group that is led by Dr Mohammad Al-Amri and Dr Kate Button in the School of Healthcare Sciences.

We are looking to recruit a Research Assistant to work on an externally funded project by Versus Arthritis, which focuses on establishing the feasibility of a virtual reality-based physiotherapy programme for people with knee osteoarthritis. The ideal candidate will have movement analysis experience and will provide a comprehensive provision of professional research support to project development. This is an exciting opportunity to carry out a project independently and drive it to its fruitful completion.

This post is available immediately on a full time (35 hours per week) basis and is fixed term till 30th November 2025.

Salary: £32,332 – £34,980 per annum (Grade 5)
Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
