About the role
We are looking to appoint a Research Assistant to join the School of Psychology and Vision Sciences to support a research team in performing a clinical trial, investigating the effectiveness of using exercise with EEG biofeedback. The purpose of this trial is to improve balance and gait function in people living with Parkinson’s. In this role you will work collaboratively as part of a larger clinical and scientific research team to achieve defined milestones and produce high quality research as part of a wider programme.
About you
Alongside your Master’s qualification in a relevant discipline for example Biomedical engineering, Neuroscience, Computer Science, etc. (or equivalent qualification/experience) you will have previous practical experience and knowledge of working with EEG. You will be an analytical thinker with sound problem-solving skills in order to successfully conduct data analysis, as well as a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for a skilled individual who is able to demonstrate research potential and enthusiasm for the research area.
