About the role

The School of Psychology and Vision Sciences are looking to appoint a Research Assistant on a part-time basis. In this varied and exciting role, you will assist with investigations in the fields of physical health conditions, ageing and neurological illness, including participant recruitment, performing quantitative (observational or experimental) and qualitative studies, analysis of data, engagement work, and dissemination of research findings.

About you

With an Honours Degree or relevant experience in a medical or psychological related discipline you will have an interest in research into neurological or ageing populations in a psychological context. You will have practical experience and knowledge of applying research skills and techniques and have a sound understanding of receiving consent for research studies. You will be an excellent communicator, an analytical thinker with proven problem-solving skills.
