Location: John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford & Peter Medawar Building, Oxford

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated research assistant with previous laboratory experience, ideally in immunology or vaccinology. This post is funded jointly between two studies (Rapid Protect and Stravinsky) assessing Covid vaccines and mAbs in immune suppressed patients, led by Professor Ellie Barnes.

The successful candidate will assess cellular and humoral responses in human studies in COVID19. This job is a fantastic opportunity to join an outstanding team working in clinically important areas of vaccinology at the Oxford University Hospitals in Oxford.

You should have a degree in biomedical sciences and evidence of previous laboratory experience. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential in order to make a strong contribution to the project.

The post is fixed term for 18 months in the first instance with the potential to extend.

You will be located at the Immunology lab at the John Radcliffe Hospital, with additional work at the Peter Medawar Building, South Parks Road.
