Are you looking to improve bereavement care for those from ethnically diverse communities? Do you have a passion for community engagement?
We are seeking to appoint a talented, post-doctorate Research Associate with qualitative research experience within the Department of Oncology and Metabolism at the University of Sheffield. You will support a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) funded study, ‘Equitable Bereavement Care for All – A qualitative study to improve bereavement services for those from minoritised ethnic groups.’
You will be an integral member of an emerging group of palliative and end-of-life care researchers and will work with Dr Catriona Mayland, Senior Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Palliative Medicine.
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
