The Department of Economics is seeking to appoint a Research Associate.
Applications are welcome from outstanding candidates with research interests in applied health/environmental economics.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the highly policy-relevant area of environment and health. You will be part of a consortium grant entitled “Tackling the root causes of upstream of unhealthy urban development” that investigates the effects of urban development on health and wellbeing in the United Kingdom.
About you
You will have a PhD in Economics or related quantitative subject. You will also need to demonstrate detailed understanding of stated preference techniques. Experience of developing health-economic models, stakeholder engagement and contributing to publications are also required.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected date end of 30/09/2024.
