The role
This is an exciting time to join Bristol Dental School as we create our brand-new clinical facility. The role holder will play a key leadership role within the School, specifically providing leadership for the new simulated general practice department. The individual will contribute to the learning and training of the full dental team.
What will you be doing?
We are seeking outstanding individuals who have strong experience in primary care to help Bristol Dental School to prepare our students for life after graduation. The role holder will take part in developing education and delivering our undergraduate programmes. The individual will have leadership role within the simulated general practice department, which involves line management, managing the clinics and patients, alongside delivering clinical teaching, tutorials and contributing to wider academic management and organisation of the School.

We are looking for well organised, enthusiastic individuals who have a keen interest in team training, and integrated teaching. You will be part of a strong cohesive team of enthusiastic staff. Applicants must be fully registered with the General Dental Council and hold BDS or equivalent.
Posts are available substantively, full time or part-time/job share.

Contract type: Open ended
Work pattern: The post is full time, 1.0FTE though we are happy to discuss flexible working including part-time and/or job-share applications.
Grade: Clinical Senior Lecturer – pathway three
Salary: from £56,502-£79,927 per annum
