The Chester Medical School is an exciting new development within the University of Chester, which delivers a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical and biomedical sciences.

An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced candidate to contribute to the delivery of biomedical sciences and associated subjects on the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate taught provision.

You will also be expected to undertake research/scholarly activities and the supervision of student research as required. An ability to teach laboratory practical experiments and offer e-learning to enhance teaching and learning, are essential.

The successful appointee is expected to contribute to the School’s teaching and administration, and to actively promote the discipline. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a discipline related to Biomedical Science and have relevant previous programme lead, teaching and/or training experience as a Biomedical Scientist, preferably with a background in cellular pathology, haematology, and/or microbiology.
