Are you interested in working for a world top 100 University?

We have an expert opportunity in the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) for a Senior Lecturer to join our highly multidisciplinary community of academics, researchers and teachers. This permanent academic post will support the delivery of teaching across ScHARR’s suite of highly successful master’s degree programmes depending on your background and skills and experience; it is anticipated that this post will focus on public health and health research and include both campus and online learning. The post holder will also contribute to undergraduate teaching, such as public health on the MBChB course.

You will play an active role in supporting existing research in ScHARR, as well as having the opportunity to develop your own research portfolio. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage teaching, research and other academic responsibilities.

It is essential that you can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and able to organise a substantial research programme and co-ordinate research projects. You will have experience of teaching public health, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level and a strongly developed track record of substantial competitive grant capture including recent and ongoing successes.

We are one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development. We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching, and student experience.
