We are looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy within the Faculty of Health & Wellbeing. The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking and developing programme in our new Department of Health and Care Professions and contribute to the Department’s MSc (pre-registration) Occupational Therapy degree programme and placement expansion programme. The MSc programme and placement expansion are delivered via a blended learning approach using blocks of online learning and on campus practical work.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of teaching occupational therapy within HE, in addition, to experience in a clinical setting within one or more areas of occupational therapy practice and the ability to contribute to other non-specialism-specific areas. You will also have the capacity to contribute to practice placement and curriculum development, and the capability to work across Faculty with other disciplines. Your role will include a leadership position within the Faculty. You will need to be a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and be registered as an occupational therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

You should be keen to contribute to the Department’s growing research environment and/or consultancy activities.
