The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences is at the forefront of higher education in Pharmacy as well as Pharmaceutical, Biomedical, Forensic, Cosmetic and Chemical Sciences. The School has excellent working relationships with industry, regulatory bodies and the NHS and has recently achieved the Athena Swan bronze award.  We are looking for a highly professional, enthusiastic and committed individual to lead our GPhC-accredited Master of Pharmacy Programme

You will have a degree (or equivalent) in pharmacy or related clinical discipline and ideally, registration with the GPhC, or another healthcare regulatory body. You will also have substantial teaching and leadership experience in clinical pharmacy related areas, within the MPharm programme.

You will be expected to make significant teaching contributions to the Master of Pharmacy programme as well as other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes appropriate to your expertise.

The job is advertised at the level of Senior Lecturer, with the possibility of appointment at the level of Reader for a candidate who can demonstrate that they meet the criteria of this grade through their research, engaged scholarly activity, academic leadership or teaching and learning activity.

Salary:

£44,414 – £54,420 per annum (Senior Lecturer)

£56,048 – £63,059 per annum (Reader)

From 1st August 2023:

£45,585 – £56,021 per annum (Senior Lecturer)

£57,696 – £64,914 per annum (Reader)
