Permanent contract (0.2FTE)

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated Senior Lecturer to contribute to the organisation, delivery, and leadership of the successful and well-established Public Health and Wellbeing department.

You will need to be an Adult Nurse on the NMC register, educated to at least degree level. You will be resourceful, highly motivated, creative and ambitious, with a key interest in learning and teaching and be able to share your skills and expertise with the nursing and healthcare workforce of the future.

Experience and a teaching qualification, such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education or Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA) is desirable. The faculty will support new members of staff to gain appropriate qualifications and is keen to support ongoing academic and professional development. You will have a high level of clinical competence and credibility in a relevant area of expertise.

We also offer a robust mentorship programme for new academic staff.

The Faculty has four education centres: University Centre Shrewsbury; Warrington Campus; Marriss House Birkenhead, and Wheeler Campus, Chester, with an expectation of some travel between sites.

We encourage applications from a diverse range of applicants.
