Contract: Fixed term contract for Maternity leave cover until 28th April 2024. This is a part time position for 0.2 FTE hours (2 sessions of 3.5 hours/week).

Location: This position will be based at Singleton Campus

The Graduate Entry Medicine programme has a number of Welsh speakers, both in the academic and clinical Faculty and in management. We are looking for a fluent and confident Welsh speaking clinician, with a real desire to support use of the Welsh Language in clinical settings across Wales, to work within our Welsh Language Support Team. Your role will be to ensure that Welsh Language Support is fully clinically integrated and embedded into the GEM programme and its associated clinical placements. In conjunction with this, the role includes contributions to the RRHiME programme (Rural and Remote Health in Medical Education). This is a track providing students with the opportunity to focus elements of the GEM programme in rural and remote parts of Wales. This includes clinical placements and student-selected projects.
