The primary purpose of this post is to contribute to mental health teaching within the undergraduate degree programme in nursing in the School.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to teaching and will have engaged in scholarly activities. Furthermore, they will be able to undertake academic administrative work. While they will primarily contribute to the undergraduate programme, they will also undertake postgraduate teaching, supervision and mentoring as designated by the Head of School.
The school requires a candidate to contribute to, and grow, the teaching activity primarily within mental health and may contribute to the shared areas of the nursing and midwifery programmes. The candidate will help to support and develop existing curricula at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across programmes. The successful candidate will require a depth of knowledge relevant to mental health.
Police vetting will be sought in respect of individuals who come under consideration for this post.
Post status: 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Teaching Fellow Merged pay scale (€39,469 – €50,886 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. https://www.tcd.ie/hr/employee-services/pay-scales/
