MVLS College Services is seeking to appoint a Technician to manage and deliver high quality technical services for the Histology unit of the Cellular Analysis facility, including providing specialist technical expertise. You will have responsibility for the organization and efficient usage of the Histology unit space including day-to-day running of the unit, including equipment, apparatus and consumables and day-to-day management of specialist facilities and sample handling (human or animal tissue). In addition, the postholder may be responsible for overseeing/training/support students, researchers, and other users of the facility. The postholder will undertake a range of technical support activities in line with the College Strategy.
