About the Vacancy

This role supports the evaluation of a Long Covid service in Bath North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW). The BSW long COVID service was rapidly developed in December 2020 in response to NHS England’s requirement for a regional long COVID assessment and treatment clinic. This project aims to understand the effect of the long COVID service on patient outcomes. This project involves collaborating with the clinical team at BSW.

About the you

You will be expected to conduct research activities to meet the project objectives. The job purpose includes responsibility for all aspects of the administration of the project, cleaning quantitative data for analysis, conducting the quantitative data analysis, writing a report to the funder and preparing a paper for publication. The Chief Investigator and Wiltshire Health and Care project team will support the successful candidate throughout the project. It is anticipated that the role will be for up to two days a week for five months.

Where is this role based?

This post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre. Regular bus services link the campus to the main Frenchay site, the city centre and surrounding areas, and nearby Bristol Parkway train station.

This is a 5-month fixed-term post and is part-time working on a 40% contract (2 days a week).
