The post is within the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics to take advantage of new initiatives in the area of neurodegeneration, in particular both Motor Neuron Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.

This post, based on the main campus, will focus on the genomic basis for both risk and progression of these diseases and drive collaboration with the clinical groups at the Walton Centre in Liverpool.

Experience in the analysis of the non-coding genome in neurodegeneration will help establish collaboration within the Department.

You will have a PHD in a relevant area.
