Fixed term, One year contract

Part-time, 17.5 hours per week 

We are looking for an experienced and organised manager to develop, promote and facilitate the Scottish Transplant Research Network work. 

The Opportunity:

The overall remit of this position is to manage, develop, promote and facilitate the Scottish Transplant Research Network which has been established to promote transplant research in Scotland, encourage cross working and collaboration across clinical and basic science teams and institutions and increase the utilisation of organs for transplant research  

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Educated to degree level with relevant work experience. 
  • Evidence of continuing professional development, including post-graduate certification in clinical and/or managerial subject.
  • Experience of planning, developing and implementing organisation strategies across multiple organisations. 
  • Ability to manage change in a complex environment and to achieve results through other people. 
  • Extensive knowledge of Network research portfolio as well as transplantation research activity across Scotland.
