The School of Health & Wellbeing has an exciting opportunity for a Tutor to contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by undertaking a range of teaching, assessment, and administrative duties, principally at postgraduate level, to further the understanding of key course topics and assist students in drawing out key learning points from course materials.

The School’s inter-disciplinary programme of world-leading research and excellent research-led teaching aims to improve population health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities in health. The School is strongly committed to the principles of equality and diversity, and in 2018 won a coveted Athena SWAN Gold Award.

We welcome applications from candidates with a postgraduate degree (SCQF Level 10) relevant to the teaching area or have expertise in a relevant field, together with an understanding of the principles of teaching, learning and assessment as well as experience of delivering and supporting undergraduate or postgraduate students either in an online, distance learning or face to face environment.

We believe that we can only reach our full potential through the talents of all. Equality, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our values. Applications are particularly welcome from across our communities and in particular people from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community, and other protected characteristics who are under-represented within the University. Read more on how the University promotes and embeds all aspects of equality and diversity within our community https://www.gla.ac.uk/myglasgow/humanresources/equalitydiversity/

We endorse the principles of Athena Swan https://www.gla.ac.uk/myglasgow/humanresources/equalitydiversity/athenaswan/ and hold bronze, silver and gold awards across the University.
